Network Security in Windows Server Environments

If you're into ethical hacking or penetration testing, you probably already know most of the tricks on basic network security, penetration avenues, escalation routines and the like.

However, what you may not know is that if you're into penetration testing enterprise environments that run on Windows Server, you've got to deal with a bunch of Windows Server specific security details, such as domain user accounts, group policies, domain controllers, the domain admins groups, so on and so forth.

In this blog, I'll share a few tips and tricks on some helpful Windows Server security stuff that could help you become a better penetration tester. Please keep in mind though that any info you learn from here should only be used to perform ethical hacking. As a security professional, you must not violate the trust imposed in you so please do not misuse any of this info.

That's all for now. Stay tuned.

Adios,
Nick.
